AKEMI Stone Cleaner

AKEMI Stone Cleaner is a highly concentrated, slightly alkaline cleaning agent developed for the rapid and thorough basic cleaning of natural and engineered stone surfaces. Its water-based formula contains non-ionic surfactants, auxiliary agents, fragrances and solvents while remaining free from acids, phosphates and alkalis.

The powerful concentrate removes construction dirt, layers of stone polish and wax, self-shining coatings, light concrete residue, oil, grease, soot, rubber and tar stains, as well as residues of synthetic paint and synthetic plaster.

Stone Cleaner is suitable for a wide variety of acid-sensitive and acid-resistant materials, including marble, limestone, travertine, terrazzo, slate, granite, brick, cotto, tiles, cement tiles, porcelain stoneware and exposed concrete. It can be used on rough, fine-ground, ground, satin, bush-hammered, sandblasted, antique, sawn, polished and flamed surfaces.

The concentrate can be diluted with water from 1:1 to 1:50 depending on the material and degree of soiling. It is suitable for basic cleaning in kitchens, bathrooms, floors, stairs, terraces, façades, walls, monuments and other indoor or outdoor areas.

The surfactants contained in the product are readily biodegradable according to OECD 301 B. When used correctly, treated natural and engineered stone surfaces are safe for contact with food in accordance with DIN 10516, as confirmed by an independent German testing institute.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Dilute the concentrate with water in a ratio between 1:1 and 1:50 according to the material and degree of soiling.
Apply the diluted cleaner evenly to the stone surface.
Allow the product to work for approximately 10–20 minutes.
Do not allow the cleaner to dry on the surface.
For stubborn or deeply embedded dirt, scrub with a brush or nylon pad.
Rinse the treated surface thoroughly with clean water.
Repeat the procedure if necessary.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Always test the product on a small and inconspicuous area before use.
Do not use on solvent-sensitive plastics or rubber.
Do not allow the cleaning solution to dry on the surface.
Rinse the treated area thoroughly with clean water after cleaning.
Wear suitable protective gloves and eye protection.
Keep out of reach of children.
The product causes serious eye damage.
If the product enters the eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.
Remove contact lenses when present and easy to do, then continue rinsing.
Contains isoeugenol and may cause an allergic reaction.
